SMIIC 20th General Assembly — Successfully Organized by Avantage Events.

From 11 to 13 November 2025, the 20th General Assembly of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) was held in Tashkent. This prestigious international event was organized by the Agency for Technical Regulation of Uzbekistan and gathered delegates from all 48 member states, as well as observers, representatives of international organizations, scientists, and experts.

The complete organizational process of this significant event was carried out by the Avantage Events team. Our team ensured high-level preparation of the event halls and seamless management of all technical processes. At every stage, we maintained a professional approach fully aligned with international requirements and protocol standards.

This Assembly, held in Uzbekistan for the first time, marked a historic milestone as it became the first SMIIC General Assembly hosted in Central Asia. For Avantage Events, the event represented another major milestone, showcasing our extensive experience in working with large international delegations. Throughout the Assembly, key topics such as eliminating technical barriers to trade, enhancing standardization and metrology, and improving conformity assessment systems were discussed. Panel sessions, roundtable discussions, and cultural programs were also successfully organized.
